About Sarkar Sufi Ghyasuddin Shah

  1. Before 1947 in Undivided India this Dargah Sharif was home to 1400 peerzaadgans & khuddams(Servants) who lived in Mehrauli Basti & 14 groups were there. Every group was known as “Thula” & every Head of group was called “Thuleydar”.
 
  1. In 1947 the rioters made nuisance in the Dargah premises and most of the peerzadgaans left to Pakistan and some stayed at camp of Old Qila.After peace only those peerzadgaans came back and established again the practices of Charagan(Evening Lightening of lamps)etc.
 
  1. Among these peerzaadgans was one Man whose name was Qazi Islamuddin came back with his father Qazi Wasiuddin and his brothers Qazi Salimuddin & Ziauddin,and started taking care of Dargah Sharif which were earlier done by father Qazi Wasiuddin & Grandfather Qazi Minhajuddin.
 
  1. Work of Qazi Islamuddin was to fetch water from Dargah Sharif’s well on his shoulders & collect water in the Wuzukhana(Place for Ablutions).Cleaning of the Aastana Mubarik & selfless service of Pilgrims visiting Dargah Sharif.
 
  1. Mother Mohtarma Hamida Begum’s Testimony: “Your father shoulders bore marks of hard labour & | used to cook chapattis on broken pitchers. We did not had enough money to buy utensils & whatsoever came was served to pilgrims visiting Dargah Sharif.”
 
  1. Around Dargah sharif Qazi Islamuddin establihed many weaker & poor Muslim families & serviced mankind as possible.People till now feel gratitude for that & much people are there who have forgotten this also.
 
  1. Father Qazi Islamuddin & Mother Hamida Begum 1964-65 took discipleship(Bayat) at the hands of Master Sarkar Abdul Shakur Miyan Sahab in Mehfilkhana of Dargah Sharif. But Spiritual knowledge was not attained in high measures because of lack of company of the Master.
 
  1. Janab Qazi Wasiuddin Sahib was Bayat from Sarkar Miyan Sahab of Hoshiarpur and learned from him the life of simplicity.His whole life he lived simply, patiently and talking the least.
 
  1. On morning 11 A.M. of 24th Ocober,1961 in home of Qazi Islamuddin & Mohtarma Hamida Begum a male boy was born. This was their eldest boy who was named “Ghyasuddin” Healthy & curly haired who attained education upto 6th standard in Mehrauli school at age five & then 12th standard from Kidwai Nagar,New Delhi. Took admission in Graduation Delhi University and in 1981 joined service in D.D.A.which is upto 31-12-2017.
 
  1. From childhood his likings were service of those who came to visit his father,makin Tea etc . for them, wakeful at nights,on ocassion of Taziya crying emotionally, alone sleeping with the Taziya & service of sick people.
 
  1. Between 1977 to 1980 from Karachi,Pakistan Qibla Amiruddin used to visit Dargah Sharif who also was in relation as Elder Uncle to Miyan Ghyassuddin and also was one among the peerzaadgans of Dargah Sharif.He was on journey to Hyderabad Deccan.
 
First Meeting:
 
Miyan Ghyassuddin was sitting in his Father’s room (Hujra) in Dargah Sharif. Suddenly Qibla Amiruddin entered into the room and took books from his hands & said:
 
“Till I was not sold noone valued it,
You made me priceless by purchasing me”
 
Though these verses were understood many years later by miyan Ghyassuddin but from that moment Ghyassuddin miyan accompanied him in everything be it eating, going-coming & madness increased.
 
  1. Spiritual training started, nights were spent in spiritual classes and miyan Ghyassuddin understood some parts of it & some he didn’t but he always wept for sure.
 
  1. From 1977 to 1980 Sarkar Qibla Amiruddin visited 3-4 times and in each journey miyan Ghyassuddin was in his service and without himself knowing a lot of things entered in his Heart.
 
  1. Spiritual Genology(Shajra Sharif), Secret Hymns(Wazifas) and Knowledge were bestowed by the Master and in New Karachi still Robe of Mastership(Khirkah-E-Khilafat) is present as a (Amanat) with Master Qibla Amiruddin’s son.
 
  1. Time is the best Medicine. In 1998 a book “Aaftab-E-Auliya” came in hands of miyan Ghyassuddin. Spiritual Practise(Riyazat) The Rose of the Soul started and unconsciousness grew. Speechless words. By Morning Azaan regained the Concious with ending of the book. The seed implanted in the Heart between 1977 to 1980 matured and books, Spiritual practices, contemplation & drowning were all that was left to life.
 
  1. Between 1980 to 1998 on 13th April, 1985 Miyan Ghyassuddin was married to Sayyeda Shagufta Begum and life took various twists & turns.He himself says about the same as:
         “Such a Culprit I was that no bad habbit left which I didn’t did.”
 
  1. In between on 26th March,1996 Qazi Islamuddin passed away & Syed Amiruddin Qutbi was born. Then came 2005 & life took all its exams. To make barren land productive it has to be toiled. Nature took various exams through near and dear ones. Death seemed to be the only resort. Anyhow, Gold has to pass through fire & nature was doing its work.
 
  1. 2005-Thankyou Sufi Shadab Ali Qadri-Shuttari who by the order of Lord became means for Miyan Ghyassuddin’s help. A call came from him stating that Sarkar Sufi Nizamddin Shah Qadari-Shuttari is coming along with his disciples and will stay overnight. A few talks were done for the arrangements & it was decided that the time approached which is going to revolutionize the life of Sufi Ghyassuddin & Transform it.
 
” My craving is also a Blessing of someone,
The steps are moved by someone not by oneself “
 
  1. Heart started pounding thinking that How would be Sarkar like? What he will say? What I will Answer? Inside rehersal went on but when time approached everything proved futile.Half-Built home,no electricity,no whitewash & broken stairs. Adjusted broken bed on one side & supported it with wooden poles, borrowed mattresses from Amma’s old home. Dear Abrar worked since morning and when he said finally “How is it?”could not believe despite every obstacle how the arrangements were made so good.
“Why do you repent over destructed Heart,
Whose home is within will take its care”
 
  1. Waiting was seeming endless and lot of thoughts crossed my mind. Amiruddin Bhai informed guests have arrived in Dargah Sharif. Heart ponuded and with brisk steps walked to welcome everyone but by then Sarkar with all guests were seated in in father’s old room. This humble servant reached and greeted all. But what was seen was unexpected. Neither Sarkar wore any big headgear nor a gliterring cloth in his neck reaching knees.No intreset in being a center of attraction but still:
 
“Your beauty in my view God’s swear is book of God,
Set aside Loving you Madly,your look is a Blessing”
 
Soft wheatish feet, light coloured box patterned Lungi(Sufi’s skirt) , Kurta(Upper Long shirt) whose shoulders and neck were embroided and his beautiful face.
“We moulded Man into a beautiful Mould” 95:4,
an embroided Rumal(Long Cloth),snow white curly hair and on head rich sand-coloured Sufi Cap.
 
  1. With an attractive & deep smile Sarkar made space around his seating & said: “Come sit here”. The humble servant sat. He asked: “Everything’s fine?” which was humbly replied with a “Yes”.
 
“From heavenly bodies its drawn and hidden in Hearts,
The wine of Oneness is served by Eyes not Oceans !!!”
 
22:And it happened for what works nature had been doing on this humble servant. All of this was revealved later.It will not be inappropriate here that usually people think that a disciple searches for a Master. This is not a wise thing to say as what is the basis on which a disciple will judge a Master? Whatever he will judge or test will be confined to his own intelligence and information. Mind & Information both fail in front of a realized Master.Reality is this A Realized Master chooses disciples but in such a way that a disciple feels that he has searched himself.
 
“Truth by itself attracts the heart O Preacher,
Reality makes itself believed it’s not imposed”
 
  1. With wet eyes a verse was presented to Sarkar by humble servant:
 
” Decorated the World of Imaginations,
Your thoughts I have made my Kaaba”
 
His deep smile was indicating coming times. After tea all visited the Shrine of Sarkar Ba-lkhtiyar Kaki(Q.S.A).As per Dargah rituals Sarkar gestured to humble servant to proceed forward which was did as it was learnt. Though this humble servant was ignorant that how Unknown arrangements are done by gestures of fingertips.
“How do I say thanks for the Blessings which were bestowed on me by Nabi”
After getting free from Dargah Sharif all reached home.
 
  1. All sufi brotherhood already arrived and the flow of River increased means discourses on Sufism started. This humble servant was astonished, empty minded and in awe.Disciples asked some questions and every question was answered aptly with a try to develop a thirst for “Oneness”.
“Himself give alms & says Blessed be who asked for it”
In a gathering all kinds of people are present. Some were like:
 
“The Beloved showed Charisma and made us Mad,
Himself he became the candle & we became Moth”
 
And some were like this:
“Lips on the verge of Sea but still thirsty”
 
  1. With Sarkar’s permission dinner was served and after tea Qawwalis(Sufi Music)……
Mann Kunto Maula………Shahey Mardan, Sher-E-Yazdaa Quwwatey Parwardigar,
What to say: “Whose gathering is there he Himself comes” was proved.
Everything halted, unusual environment, and unusual state. Different people from Sufi brotherhood enjoyed the Sama.
 
  1. The next day in Seelampur Khatam-Sharif & Sama were held. Spiritual benefits of Sama, spiritual states, and art of listening were discussed. At Shadab’s Bhai home was the arrangement of Tea. When Sarkar took Paan(Betel Leaf) out of his mouth for drinking tea, this humble servant took it with both hands and after tea ate the same Paan. Everything changed.
“I  see your charisma in all directions I  see”
 
 
Departure.
 
  1. On 25th March,2006 with Sufi Shadab Bhai,Haji Ji & Shamsuddin bhai this humble servant reached in service of Sarkar at Alipura, Najibabad(U. After meals the Sea of Knowledge from Sarkar again took high tides. Shakil bhai after listening the Truth started slapping himself and presented his will to be his disciple.Sarkar ordered for three glasses of Sharbat of Gur(Jaggery). Subtle Ego attacked this humble servant but the All-Merciful showed his Mercy Sarkar Ordered,”Sit Down!” and initiated me as a disciple.As soon as Sharbat came down from throat this humble servant started humming songs,heart felt like to dance but just didn’t seeing the gathering.
 
Then he showed “Masjide Kba Masajedallah”(Masjid of Allah). These words are in Kalaam-E-Allah.Just dive into sea of knowledge, bath,swim & get drowned.
 
  1. After getting Bayat(Oath of Allegiance with Master) don’t know what happened, I just cried,cried & cried incessently. All ego was washed up along with tears.On return jomey,visited Sarkar Shah Pir(Q.S.A) in Meerut(U.P.) & reached Delhi.Got dyed in colours of Master by then.The Zikr,practices and deep tips what Sarkar told that were done with seriousness.Shadab bhai said jokingly, Like a Dog presses his tail in between his legs on seeing someone more powerful,same is your state.” I am thankful to him for this as with his foresightedness and advice he has always helped this humble servant.
 
  1. 6th March,2007:-
A year passed away in Discourses, Zikr, Meditation & Study. Perfect Master knows his disciple’s inner states too well. On Sarkar’s second homecoming Sarkar declared in a gathering to award this humble servant “Mastership” which was never thought even. On 6th March,2007 Mastership was awarded at Najibabad at common gathering and Sufi Ghyassuddin was departed with a advice to carry forward the mission of Sufism,service of mankind,Love & Peace.On same day i.e. 6th March,2007 “Markaze Tasawwuf  (Center of Sufism), Qadiriya-Shuttariya-Chishtiya- Ghyassiya was established and on every Thursday after Isha’s Namaz Discourses, Khatam-Sharif & Langar was started which is in practice uptill now & will continue forever.
 
 
What Prophet Mohammad(S.A.W.) was bestowed in Spiritual
Ascension(Meraj) & which Maula-E-Kaynaat Hazrat Ali(K.W.K.)
spreaded to every Dervesh, Sufi and Sufi Brotherhood, that Sufism
is still spreading through Khanqah Sharif, Markaze Tasawwuf
